Andrew Power
President & Chief Executive Officer
Andrew (Andy) Power is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Digital Realty. Andy also has served as Digital Realty’s President since 2021 and as Chief Financial Officer since 2015 with responsibility for global portfolio operations, technology development and innovation, service provider and enterprise customer solutions, asset management and information technology, as well as the company’s financial functions across its global platform. Prior to joining Digital Realty, Andy held positions of increasing responsibility at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he most recently served as Managing Director of Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging Investment Banking and was responsible for relationships with over 40 public and private companies, including Digital Realty.
Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Andy was employed by Citigroup, where he held similar positions. During his career, he has managed the execution of over $30 billion of public and private capital raises, including the largest REIT IPO to date, and more than $19 billion of merger and acquisition transactions. Andy was part of the lead underwriting team that advised Digital Realty on its initial public offering in 2004 and served as a lead manager on nearly every subsequent public capital raise.
Andy also serves on the Board of Directors of Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD), where he is a member of the audit committee and investment committee. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University.
Matt Mercier
Chief Financial Officer
Matt Mercier is the Chief Financial Officer at Digital Realty, with responsibility for the company's global corporate finance organization, including treasury, capital markets, investor relations, financial planning and reporting, accounting, and tax.
Matt joined Digital Realty in 2006, most recently serving as Senior Vice President Global Finance and Accounting. While at Digital Realty, he has held roles with increasing levels of responsibility, including leading corporate planning and capital markets, managing integration projects, overseeing joint ventures, and serving as principal accounting officer.
Prior to joining Digital Realty, Matt held roles in asset management at Equity Office Properties Trust and as an auditor at KPMG.
Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of California, Berkeley.
Greg Wright
Chief Investment Officer
Greg Wright is the Chief Investment Officer at Digital Realty, with responsibility for spearheading the company’s investment and other capital allocation activities.
Prior to joining Digital Realty, Greg was Co-Head of Americas Real Estate and Managing Director of the Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. During his tenure at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he provided strategic and financial advice to clients across a broad spectrum of real estate, infrastructure and related sectors, including Digital Realty. In his capacity as an external advisor to Digital Realty, his strategic and financial expertise were integral to the execution of transactions that have been truly transformational for the company. He served as lead M&A advisor on the $1.9 billion acquisition of Telx, the $7.8 billion merger with DuPont Fabros and the $1.8 billion acquisition of Ascenty. Before his time at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Greg served as a Managing Director in the Real Estate & Lodging Group at Citigroup where he was responsible for originating and executing strategic advisory and capital raising assignments, as well as general client coverage. During his 25-year investment banking career, he successfully completed over $200 billion of M&A transactions, asset sales, joint ventures, public and private debt and equity offerings, and bank loans for clients. Many of these transactions have been the largest, most noteworthy deals in the REIT sector. For example, Greg led teams that acted as the sole sell-side advisor on the largest REIT merger in history and that served as an active bookrunner on the two largest REIT initial public offerings to date. Greg also worked at Trammell Crow Company in Washington, DC where he was a member of the finance team responsible for acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, as well as construction and permanent debt financings across multiple product types.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
Cindy Fiedelman
Chief Human Resources Officer
Cindy Fiedelman is Chief Human Resources Officer at Digital Realty, responsible for leading the company’s global human capital strategy, which includes talent management, leadership development, compensation and benefits programs, and human resources integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to taking on this role, Cindy was Vice President of People & Diversity at American Airlines, where she led the organization-wide integration effort resulting from the $11 billion merger between American Airlines and US Airways. In addition, she led talent management, staffing, compensation and human resources operations globally. She also has held senior-level human resources and operations positions at companies including Avaya, Sun Microsystems and Comcast. Cindy has a proven track record of building teams focused on attracting top talent, transforming organizations, leading human resources activity around mergers and acquisitions as well as the subsequent integration efforts, and creating engaged workforces.
She received a Bachelor of Art degree in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania.
Chris Sharp
Chief Technology Officer
Chris Sharp has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, with an extensive background in developing technology strategies in global markets. He has a deep knowledge of the data center sector and is well positioned to expand technical innovation at Digital Realty. Most recently, he was responsible for cloud innovation at Equinix, where he led the development of innovative cloud services solutions and developed new capabilities enabling next-generation, high-performance exchange and interconnection solutions, facilitating broad commercial adoption of cloud computing on a global basis. Previously, Mr. Sharp held leadership positions at top network and colocation providers, including Qwest Communications, MCI/Verizon Business and Reliance Globalcom.
Colin McLean
Chief Revenue Officer
Colin McLean is the Chief Revenue Officer at Digital Realty, with responsibility for global sales and marketing across the full data center footprint. He is focused on growing and deepening Digital Realty’s focus on customers and partners, and the value they can derive by leveraging PlatformDIGITAL® globally to support the world's largest meeting place for companies, technologies, and data.
Colin joined Digital Realty in 2017 and most recently served as Head of Sales in the Americas region. His previous senior leadership roles at Digital Realty include Senior Vice President of Global Accounts, and leader of the Global Sales Operations and Partnerships & Alliances efforts.
Prior to joining Digital Realty, Colin held increasingly senior leadership positions at Siemens and Unify (an Atos company), in which he built and led high performance sales and operations teams. He has over 25 years of sales, technology, and operational experience.
Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College and master’s degree from Pepperdine University.
Jeannie Lee
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Jeannie Lee is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Digital Realty and is responsible for leading the global legal, sustainability, risk management, governance and compliance functions. She joined the company in 2010.
Prior to joining the company, Jeannie was a corporate attorney with Latham & Watkins LLP where her practice included public company representation and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financing transactions.
Jeannie received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
Serene Nah
Managing Director, Head of Asia Pacific
As Managing Director, Head of Asia Pacific, Serene Nah leads Digital Realty’s Asia Pacific team to continue to broaden the reach of the company’s global data center platform and deliver the value of PlatformDIGITAL®, the world’s largest meeting place for companies, technologies and data, to the region.
Serene brings extensive experience in pan-Asia infrastructure real estate and technology investment to Digital Realty. She joined Digital Reality from Kerry Properties, where she was Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in charge of finance, corporate development, strategy, and operations. Prior to that role, she was Head of Portfolio Management in Asia for Silverlake Partners, a global technology private equity firm. She currently serves on the boards of ESR and Digital Core REIT, and is Vice Chair of the Asia Pacific Data Center Association helping to drive unified dialogue on data center policy matters in the region.
Serene honed her skills in finance, mergers and acquisitions and business transformation in various roles with General Electric over ten years. Her last role at GE was CFO of GE Capital Greater China.
Serene graduated from the Nanyang Technological University Singapore with a bachelor’s degree in Business and has an executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kellogg-HKUST. She is based in Singapore.
Jeff Tapley
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff Tapley joined Digital Realty in August 2013 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer. In his role, Jeff is responsible for leading our customer-centric, consistent approach to how we build and operate globally.
A major focus of his responsibility within the global portfolio is working with the sales team on multi-regional transactions and negotiating global agreements with major customers. Jeff is also a member of Digital Realty’s Investment Committee and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Before joining Digital Realty, Jeff spent 18 years within the private equity real estate group at Fidelity Investments, followed by two years with Long Wharf Real Estate Partners. Jeff served as managing director of both firms and was a principal in acquiring and structuring joint ventures in all forms of commercial real estate for the company-sponsored value-add investment vehicles.
Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Bentley University, a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Saint Anselm College, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Jan-Pieter Anten
EMEA Managing Director
Jan-Pieter (JP) Anten is the EMEA Managing Director (MD) responsible for working with the global senior management team to deliver a strategy and results for the EMEA region in all facets of the business. He joined Digital Realty in 2011, and as part of the executive team, contributed to the vast expansion of the business and transformed the organization to be ready for future sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Digital Realty, JP was responsible for the International Strategic Clients Europe at Hay Group, a global management consulting firm focused on combining business and people. Before Hay Group, he was part of the executive team of Synthon, an international pharmaceutical organization.
JP’s wide consultancy experience has given him a good insight in how different businesses operate and combined with his broad expertise in HR he sees beyond the financial business numbers.
He has a degree from the University of Utrecht.
